Italian exports are set to grow further in 2023!
According to the SACE report on Italian exports, after the excellent results of 2022, 2023 is also preparing to be a year of enormous success for Made in Italy exporters. In the base scenario, which discounts a gradual resolution of the Russia-Ukraine conflict over the next year, Italian exports of goods in value will grow by +5% this year.Furthermore, Italian exports should benefit from the diversification of destination markets, with an increase in exports to countries outside the European Union. Italian exports grow again in the third quarter of 2022!
Italy is experiencing a phase of strong growth in exports, as demonstrated by ISTAT data for the third quarter of 2022. In detail, there was a growth in exports for almost all territorial divisions: the Center recorded an increase of 3, 9%, the North-West 2.0% and the North-East 1.8%. Also in the previous nine months, the increase on an annual basis in exports was very sustained and widespread at a territorial level: the Islands recorded an increase in exports of 69.2%, the Center of 23.9% and the North West by 20.2%, while the North-East recorded an increase of 17.7% and the South by 15.3%. Italian exports still growing: + 21.2% in June!
The price list effect relaunches Italian exports, which in June grew by 21.2%.This is the sixteenth consecutive month in progress, the eighth in double-digit growth.Italian exports thus arrive in the first six months of 2022 at 306 billion, 56 more than in the same period of the previous year, which in absolute values had represented the new record. If last year sales were equal to 516 billion, taking as reference the last 12 mobile months (July 2021 – June 2022) we have already reached 572, adding in fact a tens of billion more every month. Italian exports continue to grow: seize the moment and participate in Go-International!
According to Istat data released on June 17, 2022, in April 2022 a cyclical growth is estimated for trade flows with foreign countries. The monthly increase in exports affects all the main groups of industries and is mainly driven by sales of energy (+ 18.0%) and non-durable consumer goods (+ 2.0%), to both areas , EU (+ 1.2%) and non-EU (+ 1.8%). On an annual basis, in April 2022 exports still show very sustained growth (+ 14.9%), with increases spread to all sectors, except motor vehicles, and to all the main partner countries, with the exception of Russia, China and Japan. Digital Export Bonus: a new incentive for internationalization!

2021: Record export for Lombardy. One more reason to participate in Go International!
The second edition of Go International, the fair for export services, will be held in Milan at the Palazzo delle Stelline from 4 to 5 October 2022. Milan and Lombardy are in fact a perfect location to deal with Italian exports and their potential. In the fourth quarter of 2021 Lombard exports grew by a good 10.2% compared to the previous quarter, confirming an exceptional positive post-pandemic trend. Overall in 2021 Lombardy managed to export goods for a value of 135.9 billion euros, exceeding the previous all-time high of 2019 of 6.6% (year in which regional exports reached 127.5 billion euros) . ISTAT confirms the great recovery of Italian exports!
ISTAT has recently released statistical data regarding market trends in the year 2021. The observed parameters are encouraging and help to demonstrate the importance of GO INTERNATIONAL, an event dedicated to export services to be held in Milan, at the Palazzo delle Stelline, October 4th and 5th 2022. Statistics show that in 2021 there was a trend growth in exports, equal to + 18.2%, for a total value of 516 billion euros, even higher than the pre-covid levels of 2019. Compared to 2020, exports it increased more towards EU countries (+ 20%) than non-EU markets (+ 16.3%). These data show how the market is recovering abundantly after the pandemic and reveal great opportunities for Italian companies.
