Italy is experiencing a phase of strong growth in exports, as demonstrated by ISTAT data for the third quarter of 2022. In detail, there was a growth in exports for almost all territorial divisions: the Center recorded an increase of 3, 9%, the North-West 2.0% and the North-East 1.8%. Also in the previous nine months, the increase on an annual basis in exports was very sustained and widespread at a territorial level: the Islands recorded an increase in exports of 69.2%, the Center of 23.9% and the North West by 20.2%, while the North-East recorded an increase of 17.7% and the South by 15.3%.
The data highlight a very positive year, to which Go International, thanks to the success of the October edition, has made its contribution. The regions that had the greatest influence on the annual growth of national exports were Lombardy, with an increase of 20.5%, Marche, with an increase of 89.4%, and Sardinia, with an increase of 73 .9%. Sicily also recorded an increase of 66.7%. In particular, the Lombard data is very positive thanks to the increase in sales to Germany, the United States, Switzerland and Spain.
Furthermore, the provincial analysis of exports shows positive performances for most of the Italian provinces, with the highest contributions recorded by Milan, Ascoli Piceno, Syracuse, Turin and Brescia.
